About Mario Conte — Neapolitan Singer

Meet Mario Conte, a singer from Naples performing Neapolitan songs and a tribute to Massimo Ranieri. Discover his story, television appearances and Concerto dell’Acqua.

Mario Conte is a singer from Naples whose repertoire brings together the classical Neapolitan song tradition and a tribute to Massimo Ranieri. His performances combine songs with stories about the music and its cultural roots.

From Naples to live performances

Born in Naples, near Piazza Carlo III, Mario developed his passion for singing alongside his working life. In the early 1990s he began performing in venues, public celebrations, Neapolitan bridal serenades and wedding receptions.

The songs of Naples remain central to his artistic identity. The programme is discussed with the organiser so the repertoire and musical moments suit the audience and occasion.

Appearances on Italian television

Mario Conte has appeared in Il Boss delle Cerimonie and Il Castello delle Cerimonie, broadcast on Real Time. These appearances document his performances during celebrations at Castello La Sonrisa, among couples, families and guests.
